As a prosecutor for 25 years, I am committed to protecting the citizens of Kern County. I've taken criminals off the streets, obtained justice for crime victims, prosecuted deadbeat parents, kept children in school, and helped make Kern County a safer place to live and work.

Kern County's children have always been my top priority. As a prosecutor of juvenile dependency cases, I have removed children from unhealthy environments for their protection. As Supervising Attorney of the Child Support Division, I enforced child support orders and removed families from the cycle of welfare. As lead Attorney in the Child Abduction Unit, I prosecuted adults who abducted children in violation of child custody orders.

Currently, as lead Attorney enforcing Truancy Laws for six local school districts, I have prevented crime by keeping children in school and ensuring parents act responsibly- resulting in decreased drop out rates and more high school graduates.

My involvement in our community and dedication to the church exemplifies the values of Kern County: justice, love of God, family, and education. I used these precepts to raise three children, who are attending four year colleges. I am strongly committed to ensuring that our laws are enforced and our children are protected. As Superior Court Judge, I will represent your values with integrity and impartiality. I will stand on my principles of open mindedness, discipline, excellence, education, accountability and consequences. I will strive for efficiency of our court system, with FIRM, FAIR justice being the core of all cases heard in my courtroom.
